The bigger the ice chest the betterStart with a cheep ice chest. Even the really cheep Styrofoam ice chests work well. 48 quart is a good size for a 700 watt fogger, though it doesn't work badly for a 1300 watt unit either.
|
| So I cut a 4" diameter hole on each side
of the ice chest (input and output).
|
I used a rotozip tool: but, a jig saw works just as
well
|
| Cut 2 pieces of 4" diameter drain pipe to fit all
the way across the inside of the ice chest and still leave 2" sticking out
to connect to other pipe
|
Drill holes in the part of the drain pipe that will
be inside the ice chest
|
| Fit the drain pipes back into the ice chest.
|
And seal them in place. I used silicon sealant.
Don't let the big dispenser scare you it's just what I had on hand. A 3oz
tube is more then enough for this job
|
| Here's the finished product. I use to put a baffle
between the input and output tubes to force the fog to take a longer path
through the ice; but, I had one break last year and it didn't seem to make
any difference. |
